Repair or replace?
A repair makes sense when
The damage is confined to one area, the rest of the roof still has service life, and there is no valid storm claim covering the whole roof.
A replacement makes sense when
Hail bruising shows up on every slope, the shingle mat cracks when it flexes, or the roof is old enough that the next storm ends it anyway.

What should I do about an active roof leak right now?
Move what you can out from under it, put a container under the drip, and if the ceiling is bulging with trapped water, relieve it at the low point so it drains in one controlled place instead of bringing the drywall down. Photograph everything for your insurer, and do not get on a wet roof yourself.
Is a repair or a replacement the right call?
If the damage is localized and the rest of the roof has service life left, repair it. If the roof is at the end of its life or the damage is spread across every slope, a repair is money spent twice. We will tell you honestly which one you have.
Do you do emergency tarping?
Yes. After a storm we can get a tarp on to stop water entering the house while the claim and the schedule get sorted out.
Are you actually working in Missouri, or is this a storm-season thing?
