A stain, a drip, or a bucket in an Oklahoma City kitchen is a job for a registered local roofer, not the crew that knocks after the storm. CRE Roofing is the roofing division of Clean Residential Energy LLC, a family-owned company in business in Warr Acres since December 2018. Our Oklahoma roofing registration is #80007347, verifiable through the Construction Industries Board. The Warr Acres office is 5601 NW 72nd St, Suite 345, Warr Acres, OK 73132. Call (405) 234-7929, or book a free, no-obligation inspection and choose “Roof repair or leak” on the form.
What to do in the first hour
Move furniture away from the drip and put a container under it. If the ceiling is sagging with trapped water, relieve it at the low point so it drains in one place instead of bringing the drywall down. Photograph everything before you clean. Do not climb onto a wet roof.
More Oklahoma homeowners get hurt in the hour after a storm than during it.
After a storm we can get a tarp on to stop water entering the house while the claim and the schedule get sorted out. We do not claim a 2-hour or 60-minute tarping guarantee. Hours are Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm. Storm and roof-leak emergencies are answered 24 hours at (405) 234-7929.
What happens when you call CRE Roofing
A leak inspection is free and there is no obligation. In the Oklahoma City metro we usually schedule within 48 hours. Warr Acres is the shortest drive we make, because the office sits on NW 72nd Street.
We photograph what we find and say whether it is a repair, a full replacement, or nothing. We walk you through it in plain language. The leak sources we actually list on our roof leak repair page:
- Wind-lifted and missing shingles
- Failed pipe boots, the single most common leak we find
- Flashing at walls, chimneys, and valleys
- Hail punctures and cracked shingle mats
- Damaged fascia, drip edge, and gutter line
- Decking and underlayment where water has already gotten through
On a patch, a shingle match is usually close and rarely perfect. Colors change across production runs and sun-fade. We will say how noticeable a patch will be on a visible slope.
On a replacement, reused pipe boots are the single most common leak. Boots, vents, flashing, and underlayment should be new, in writing.
Shingle crews are subcontracted, which is normal at our size, and we say it out loud. The electricians are in-house — two on staff — so a bent service mast can be looked at on the same storm inspection. Residential electrical only: houses, garages, shops, outbuildings. There is no after-hours electrical dispatch.
Repair or replace
Repair when the damage is confined, the rest of the roof has service life, the shingles are not brittle, and there is no valid storm claim covering the whole roof. Replace when hail bruising is on every slope, the mat cracks when it flexes, there have been repeated repairs in different places, or the roof is simply old enough that the next storm ends it.
One failed boot on a roof with life left is a repair. A roof that has been patched to death is money spent twice. We will tell you which one you have. We do not get paid more for saying replacement.
If the question is only price, that is a different post: what a new roof actually costs in Oklahoma City.
If the leak might be hail or wind
Storm versus wear decides whether insurance is even in the room. If the leak might be hail or wind, get an independent inspection and document the roof before you call the carrier, when there is time. A denied claim still goes on the record. If there is no claim worth filing, we say so.
If you file a claim, you file it. We do not file it for you. We meet the adjuster on the roof with test squares already chalked. We handle supplements. We will not act as a public adjuster. You still own the claim. You still pay the deductible. The sequence is on our insurance claims page.
Since November 1, 2023, Oklahoma law has prohibited a roofing contractor from paying, waiving, absorbing, or rebating the deductible, or offering to. More on the statute: Can Your Roofer Pay Your Deductible in Oklahoma?.

If siding or gutters took the same storm, photograph them on the first visit. Same storm, same loss, one deductible. We also do siding and gutters without a roof.

Warr Acres, Oklahoma City, Edmond, and Moore
Warr Acres is the home city. The office is on NW 72nd Street. A lot of the housing is mid-century and single-story. A lot of those roofs are on a second or third life. Attics often were never ventilated to a modern standard.
We work the whole Oklahoma City metro, but we are a northwest-side company by geography: Northwest Expressway, the Village, Bethany, Warr Acres, Quail Creek. We keep the service area to the OKC metro on purpose.
Edmond is the north metro, I-35 corridor. Roof ages run wide. Newer additions often have steeper, more complex geometry — valleys, dormers, flashing — and HOAs may need material or color approval. Leak work in Edmond includes emergency tarping.
Moore is the south metro. Moore saw tornadoes in 1999 and 2013, and a large share of the housing has been rebuilt or re-roofed since. Newer roofs do not mean immune roofs. Leak work in Moore includes emergency tarping too.
We also work Yukon, Norman, Bethany, and Mustang.
Who not to call
Do not call an out-of-state door-knocker. Do not call anyone who will not give an Oklahoma roofing registration number — theirs, or ours, which is #80007347. Do not call anyone who offers to cover the deductible. That offer has been illegal in Oklahoma since November 1, 2023.
